RECREATIONAL LEAGUE

Pee - Wee, ages 3 & 4 - $30.00
(includes t-shirt & insurance)

Ages 5 to 17 - $60.00
(includes uniform jersey, shorts, and socks & insurance)

Late Registration $20 extra.
No registrations will be accepted after August 30, 2008

SELECT TEAMS

For U10 and up by tryout - all players welcome to tryout. Select teams have an extended season and play tournaments throughout Arizona and occasionally will play out of state.

Registration Fee: $80.00
Prospective Select team players should first register as recreational players - then if chosen to play on a Select team they will then be asked to pay the $20 difference.

Team and Travel Fee: Varies by team

Tryout Dates: August 2 and August 16
10a - 2pm at Mountain Valley Park - players stay all 4 hours
Prospective Select Team players must attend one tryout and be dressed in playing gear including shin guards.

Returning Select Team players do not need to tryout.

Refereee Classes

Referee Minimum age: 12
Get paid $10 to $25 depending on game age division and referee position

New referee class $75
Must attend all 3 classes
Friday August 1 from 5pm - 8pm
Saturday, August 2 from 8:30am - 4pm
Sunday, August 3 from 8:30am - 3pm.

Mandatory Coach Clinic

August 23
Mountain Valley Park - Pavilion field

ALL coaches required to attend

Bring water as well as wear shorts and sneakers or cleats. Some of
the training will be hands (feet) on.

Free Roughrider Soccer Clinic

In conjunction with the Prescott Valley Parks & Recreation Department as well as the Yavapai Youth Soccer League, members of the 2008 Yavapai College Soccer Team will be conducting a free soccer clinic on Friday, Aug. 22.

Date: Friday August 22
Time: 6:00 - 7:30 pm
Location: Mountain Valley Park in Prescott Valley
Ages: boys and girls ages 5-17

No registration is required.

If possible, participants should bring their own soccer ball. In addition, a coach’s clinic will take place in conjunction with the player’s clinic.

We would like to thank all of our volunteers and sponsors who make it possible for the Yavapai Soccer League to exist. Thank you to the Town of Prescott Valley for the use of the various soccer fields. We would also like to thank our players for their hard work and enthusiam and their parents for getting them to the many practices and games. Thank you to our referees for their dedication and for helping our players understand the fine points of the rules of soccer. We would also like to thank our volunteer coaches for teaching our kids not only about soccer but also about sportsmanship and team spirit. Lastly, thank you to our Board of Directors for their hard work and devotion to the YSL - without them, there would be no soccer in Prescott Valley.
